  • KFC wanted to change the mindset of their global marketing organisation in preparation for the shift to Agile Marketing. To implement Agile, the global team needed to verify that each market had the same degree of expertise about basic digital marketing precepts and that they embraced a test-and-learn approach.

Solution

CvE created and implemented the “Growth Hackers Academy,” an eight-session training program. GHA taught marketers end-to-end digital marketing from CRM to CRO to Performance Marketing and Paid Media, with a focus on teaching, upskilling, and motivating future tests across key marketing departments. The academy also taught the marketing team how to use Agile methods to hypothesise, plan, and execute effective tests.

Results

The feedback around the Growth Hackers Academy identified valuable insights to inform Phase Two which is all about readiness and enablement.

The Growth Hackers Academy was not mandatory but still attracted 300 marketers from across 30 markets in the global marketing org.

In the next stage, CvE are embedding Scrum Masters and enabling agile acceleration in key markets.
